Position: HR Intern
Location: 3rd Floor, Cheryl Hill Park, Seaport - Airport Rd, Vallathol Padi, Vidya Nagar Colony, Thrikkakara, Kakkanad, Kochi, Kerala 682021
Duration: 3 months
Reporting To: HR Manager

Our HR Internship Program offers a dynamic learning experience in recruitment, employee engagement, payroll, compliance, and placement support, providing interns with practical exposure to HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Assist in end-to-end recruitment for various roles within Emergio.
- Source and screen candidates through job portals, social media, and referrals.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
2. Employee Engagement & HR Operations
- Assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities.
- Support onboarding by preparing offer letters, HR policies, and induction materials.
- Help conduct employee feedback surveys and culture-building initiatives.
3. Payroll & Compliance Support
- Assist in managing attendance, leave records, and payroll documentation.
- Support statutory compliance tasks like PF, ESI, and labor law documentation.
- Maintain and organize HR files and reports.
4. Placement Support (for Emergio Trainees & Candidates)
- Assist in placing candidates from Emergio’s training programs in external companies.
- Maintain and update the placement database and track candidates’ progress.
- Coordinate with external recruiters and hiring partners for placement opportunities.
- Provide resume-building guidance and interview preparation support to trainees.
5. Learning & Development
- Assist in coordinating training sessions and workshops for employees and trainees.
- Research best HR practices and contribute to process improvements.
6. HR Documentation & Reports
- Prepare and maintain HR records, employee data, and performance reports.
- Draft HR policies, performance evaluation forms, and HR letters.
Requirements & Qualifications
? Education: Bachelor's/Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
? Skills Required:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of recruitment, placements, payroll, and labor laws (preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
? Preferred: Prior internship or project experience in HR or recruitment is a plus.
